This subject explores key issues facing managers operating in todays globalised world. These issues include the need to understand the international business environment and the need to develop skills in cross-cultural communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and global teamwork. This subject further explores how managers can respond positively to the challenges of motivating and leading a multi-cultural workforce, including expatriates, impatriates and global teams. Informed strategic decision-making and the issue of ethics and corporate social responsibility in an international/global context are also examined.
