Students will be able to formulate professional planning goals to consider how technology can be adopted to enhance aspects of a workplace. Students will spend one semester working on a technology training project evaluating the learning processes with a view to enhance an existing or future workplace context. The potential of applying a selected technology into the workplace will be reflected upon in light of theory, scholarship and professional practices.
The type of technology training project will vary, with students in an existing workplace able to trial and evaluate a selected technology for implementation in their own context under the guidance of a workplace mentor. Students without an existing workplace context are required to undertake an analysis of a training program in a selected technology to enhance the skills, knowledge and professional practice that will be required for application to a future workplace context. Students who have completed at least 32 credit points of their Masters degree can enter EEB506: Professional Practice in Education and Training.
