It is recommended that VSC501 is completed at the same time or prior to enrolling in VSC503.
The student will be required to investigate / analyse a problem they have identified within a farming system (either on an individual farm basis, or on a group of farms, or at industry level). The subject involves the student initially selecting a problem to analyse, defining the problem, providing alternate solutions and making recommendations to the producer(s)/industry on the problem. A written report covering these areas will be produced.
It must be noted that students who undertake any combination of VSC502, VSC503 and VSC504 must address clearly differentiated problems in each subject in order to obtain a passing grade.
